Respect for Human Rights

Basic Philosophy

The JACCS Group recognizes the importance of respecting human rights in all business activities as a member of society. We support and respect internationally recognized human rights standards such as the "International Bill of Human Rights" and the International Labour Organization (ILO) "Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work," and we respect the human rights of all people, including those who are in vulnerable positions in society.
We also regard the United Nations "Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights" as our implementation framework, comply with relevant laws and regulations in all countries or regions where we conduct business activities, and respect international standards. When there is a conflict between internationally recognized standards and national laws and regulations, we will pursue methods to respect international standards.

Specific Initiatives

Human Rights Due Diligence

The JACCS Group will establish a human rights due diligence system to prevent or mitigate negative impacts on human rights. When it becomes clear that our business activities have directly caused negative impacts on human rights, or when it becomes clear that we have contributed to such impacts, we will work on correction and remedy. Additionally, when our products and services are directly linked to human rights violations through business relationships, we will work to encourage corrective action.

Remedial Measures

The JACCS Group will establish a consultation window accessible to those who have experienced or may experience negative impacts on human rights, identify human rights impacts related to our business activities, and implement initiatives toward remedy.
